My First Day at School @ 2/18/2008 01:12:00 PM
My first in school has a very original effect, like the usual I would stare into the new school for minutes checking the surrounding and most importantly is to look for familiar faces so as not to be lonely. I quietly sat in the hall at the back of my class as I was the latest to arrive. I looked in front to see who my new form teacher is. And the same thing that happens every year, the old and tedious boring speech the pricipal will give us. almost everyone in the hall would look like their listening very attentively, but in actual fact, they are just day-dreaming like me.
After the long talk, I could hear one of the fiercest teacher in school, Mr. Koh, screaming around. Shouting with that big bad angry face, as though he is ordering the classes to quickly get back to their classes. We took our bags head head down to our new classroom and it was rather big compared to my primary schools classroom.
We changed into our P.E attire and line up outside our class, ready to start our icebreakers in the hall. We all got introduced to each other and know more about each others hobbies or their favourite. We played some games we get to call our student leaders funny names and talk to each other. We had a lot of fun and totally enjoyed ourself.
The best time of the day still was recess. I could not make up my mind on what food to eat. I scan through the canteen looking at all the variety of food they offer us and in the end I chosed the noodles stall as it has the longest queue. So I thought I might give it a try.
After school ended, all the sec 1 including me ,gathered in the hall for this weird and lame mass dance that goes with cool music. After all, my first day of school in secondary life was not as bad as I thought.
