My Favourite Food
There are many kinds and varieties of food and cuisine that Singapore offers us. I will talk about some of them before I reach my main and only best favourite.
If u go around east coast park, there is a fantastic pizza restaurant which makes wonderful pizza that really make u drool. The name of the shop is called artz pizza. It is located near a golf range and has open and closed eating table. The kitchen is open spaced which let u show how the pizza is make, and the aroma of the pizza when is being made simply just controls u and make u more hungry. They have about 10-12 type of pizza in which each has its own unique flavor. I recommend the pizza di fungi as its top with mushroom and ham all over which makes it very nice and tempting.
Another nice shop is at river valley road. 5mins walk from great world city. Located at near 7 eleven straight to its left at a corner. Although it’s a market place, the chicken rice and char siew rice is really really really very nice. But because its very nice they open only at night at 7pm. Some lucky days they open at 2pm. The char siew rice they serve in is in big portions. Rice freshly cooked for u and the char siew is boiled in some special soup and top with even nice extra special sauce which both of them complement each other.
My best and favourite restaurant is called alar carte di alfolno also located near great world. I recommend ordering in a set . the appetizer I like is toast bread with garlic, tomatoes, olive oil, vinegar , and some basils on top. Eating one makes u even more hungry. The next dish u should get is mushroom soup or pasta as they serve in a big portion and if you are u small eater, u should just stop at the pizza cause the main dish is really heavy. You can get steak or lamp, mixed in pepper sauce and has boiled potato cut in half for u. and some vegetable to make it healthier.
So if u really happen to go to one of my recommendations please leave your comment on what you ate. Thank you.

How have u been doing these few years? I have been promoted to secondary 4 express and I’m trying to cope with the new stress. And as seniors, we get to sit in the best spot in the hall, the gallery. I can see the whole school below me and the view of the whole hall is simply amazing.
It has been 4 years since I saw u, and many things have happen and changed since u left. I will tell u how the schools change since u left.At the start of January, the school has changed the school uniform, changing the collar pin badge to iron-on badge. The iron-on badge is cheaper by alot and we do not need to worry about not wearing the collar pin to school, and waste money to buy a new one. Although the quality is poor but at least the badge differentiates us from the tanglin secondary school students.
Our school also has a new principal, Mr. Koh, and he is a little bit stricter than Miss Chamb. Our one and only miss heng has yet again followed us to 4e. and the teachers we have upgraded to super teachers with a big bag of scolding arsenal prepared for us. One example of this teacher is mrs.tan mei ting, our chemistry teacher. From all the rumors we heard about her. The common thing is that she is very strict and fierce.
This year I will be taking my o’levels and since it’s a very important and crucial year, most of our teachers have been change to help us improve. Especially our chemistry teacher we got Mrs. Tan may teng to help us recover from our secondary 3 injuries and teach us more stuff. Although she jokes a little in class, but its is to keep us awake from her lesson so we can concentrate more. This is very helpful especially when she goes into a very dry topic.. And as usual, we have more homework and even more remedial. They started to early that we have not been mentally prepared.
I hope you are doing great in your new school.
Yours sincerely, giulio
My First Day at School @ 2/18/2008 01:12:00 PM
My first in school has a very original effect, like the usual I would stare into the new school for minutes checking the surrounding and most importantly is to look for familiar faces so as not to be lonely. I quietly sat in the hall at the back of my class as I was the latest to arrive. I looked in front to see who my new form teacher is. And the same thing that happens every year, the old and tedious boring speech the pricipal will give us. almost everyone in the hall would look like their listening very attentively, but in actual fact, they are just day-dreaming like me.
After the long talk, I could hear one of the fiercest teacher in school, Mr. Koh, screaming around. Shouting with that big bad angry face, as though he is ordering the classes to quickly get back to their classes. We took our bags head head down to our new classroom and it was rather big compared to my primary schools classroom.
We changed into our P.E attire and line up outside our class, ready to start our icebreakers in the hall. We all got introduced to each other and know more about each others hobbies or their favourite. We played some games we get to call our student leaders funny names and talk to each other. We had a lot of fun and totally enjoyed ourself.
The best time of the day still was recess. I could not make up my mind on what food to eat. I scan through the canteen looking at all the variety of food they offer us and in the end I chosed the noodles stall as it has the longest queue. So I thought I might give it a try.
After school ended, all the sec 1 including me ,gathered in the hall for this weird and lame mass dance that goes with cool music. After all, my first day of school in secondary life was not as bad as I thought.
